Saturday, June the 30th 2007 - 10.00 am

The ceremony will take place in the “Sala San Paolo”, located in the “Palazzo di San Filippo” in Lodi. The Sala (hall) can be accessed from via Fanfulla 3 as well as from Corso Umberto 63, through the Pubblic Library entrance (map).
In both cases do not worry if you will bump into what looks like a construction site rather than a library: the building is being renovated. Unfortunately, in spite of the “magutti bergamschi”, the most efficient species of bricklayers on earth, renovation works will not be completed within this summer.
The Palazzo di San Filippo is a beautiful example of late XVIII century Lombard Baroque and is located downtown Lodi. On Saturday morning Lodi is quite crowded, as the market takes place in the nearby Piazza Mercato, where, if you want to, you might buy a piece of the word famous cheese “Pannerone”, speciality of Lodi. Lodi people never wondered why nobody outside of Lodi can stand its bitter taste, but this is another story.

So, let’s quickly move to the Sala San Paolo to see that the ceremony will be held by Valentina, our life time friend.

After the ceremony we will move to the Rifugio Alpe Lago, where the party will take place. This alpine hut is located in the north of Lombardy, in Valtellina. It will take some 2-3 hours to get there, but we promise it’s worth it!
For whoever is not insane and does not want to drive all the way to the Rifugio (and the way back), we organized two buses. They are going to leave from viale Dante Alighieri, the big alley lined with trees that starts right in front of the train station.
